Bates Tactical Uniform Over The Calf Socks - 4 Pair

I got a few pair of these with a new pair of boots and I will say that I am not disapointed with the purchase. They are thicker and offer some cushion while not causing excessive sweating. The real test will be patrol in the summer but I have hopes they will hold up. I took two stars off because it says over the calf socks but when I put these guys on I find them to be about crew length. They don't come up any higher than the bottom of my calf. Granted I am quite tall but I got the xl and they are supposto be good to size 15. Mabye someone is made a mestake in the advertisement or someone can't measure properly. I would hope that Bates is not skimping on a little fabric on purpose as I have enjoyed their products with no complaints till now. I will review their boots after a few more weeks of use

good year round. a little bit warm for AR summers but rugged and comfortable enough to make any boots wearable. over the calf means no slipping. great for work and hunting. had them over a year and finally getting some more. mostly for my wife. she loves them when i'm not home to keep her feet warm.
