Sims 3 Military Boots

For those of you game geeks, a new and rather sexy pair of military boots debuted last month for the Sims 3. That’s right: Military boots for both men and women have been reinvented for the game that allows people to lead pseudo (and totally absurd) lives in the virtual world.

Although it’s not the first time military boots have been fitted for Sims, Sentate, the virtual boots designer, found inspiration for the updated version with a new pair of AllSaints military boots. You can download either a clean black boot or grungy-looking version for those who desire a more rugged appearance.

“I’m planning on making a set of ‘tucked-in’ effect jeans to go along with these, as regular jeans go all borked due to how they hang around the ankles,” Sentate wrote at Mod The Sims.

The computer-generated boots already are receiving rave reviews from other game players, with one fan writing: “Really nice boots! I have a pair like it in my real life, and I was thinking of doing something like that for my Sims, but now there’s no need to!”

Another gamer wrote: “Finally! Boots that females can wear that don’t have high heels! Thank you so very very much!”
