About Bates

These boots kept my feet dry and warm in Great Lakes while spending a wonderful winter with the D.I.s. These are the only boots I will ever buy!

I too wore these at Great Lakes, the only ST boot you can actually run in proven by the countless rickys daily and like the above review says it will keep your feet warm was there from late oct to late dec. comfort, versitility, durability. finally had to let them go after 7 years of wear and tear. bought a brand new pair!

I wore these boot all during basic training in the U.S. Navy at Greatlakes, Il. they kept my feet warm and believe and if you went there you know it gets cold there. and they stay in good condition and are pretty comfortable. i would say this is a good buy.
