Perfect for those in law enforcement who spend long hours on their feet, the Bates Delta-6 SZ features cement construction and iCS Technology. Cement construction is a method similar to that found in athletic and running shoe construction. It creates lightweight shoes that are highly flexible.
What is iCS Technology?
Bates offers an Individual Comfort System (iCS), which helps find that just-right fit. Developed by the Bates Product Design Team and wear-tested by actual customers, the iCS technology offers a flexible and effective way for consumers to define all-day comfort on their own terms.
How iCS Technology works
The iCS disk allows adjustment of firmness and cushion in the heel area to maximize comfort. The disk is integrated directly into the shoe’s midsole and can be placed to rest at one of the four zones. Each zone satisfies different comfort needs, allowing the user to place comfort where they want it.
- Firm Zone:Increases energy return and maximizes all-day support
- Outward Zone:Reduces outward tilt and encourages natural walking motion and stability
- Cushion Zone:Increases heel cushioning and maximizes shock absorption
- Inward Zone:Reduces inward tilt and encourages natural walking motion and stability

About Bates
- It all started with men's dress shoes. In 1885 Bates Shoe Company was just a tiny dress footwear manufacturer. Best ive had on my feet in a long time.

Took a chance on giving these boots a try, needless to say I was not disappointed. I am on my feet for well over ten hours a day, concrete and hard tile floors, long story short my feet dont ache any more after a long week of hard work.
I enjoy these boots so much I dont want to take them off, only down side is they are not made in the USA.

Tried several other brands that all fell short of the quality and style of the Bates Delta-6 SZ. Very secure on wet surfaces and super comfortable not to mention the compliments received from coworkers on design.

I usually need a break-in period for my new shoes/boots, but after about 2 days these were good to go. Comfortable right out of the box. I walk on concrete all day, these stand up to the task for me.Very good quality boot. Lives up to the Bates reputation.
