While the soft toe boot does not include a protective cap, it features a Tailex lining and allows the boot to adapt to a foot that is constantly in motion. Fly through security at new speeds with the 100% nonmetallic, electrical hazard safe boots. The F2 dual-density polyurethane cushion insert eliminates shock and prevents leg and back pain. The SZ in this boot's name stands for side zipper and means that you won't have to mess with tying and untying boot laces. The side zipper allows you to slip in and out of your boots with the kind of swiftness tactical operators require.

I have really bad knees and about to have surgery on them. These boots make me forget how bad my knees are. They are so comfortable, I can walk with ease. I don't feel any pain until it is time to run. I broke them in with in three days.

I have difficulty finding a shoe that is wide enough, yet not sloppy. I also have slightly fat feet (need arch support) and problems with "hammer toe". These boots took about three days to break in. After that they were very comfortable, lightweight and my foot problems went away. I bought a pair for my Dad and he loves them too. This is a great work boot or all weather hiking boot. I bought a pair for my 84 year old (active) Dad and he loved them too.

I baught these boots for a new security position I recently got. I started with oxford style work boots and had nothing but pain in my bad knee. After switching to these boots I can say I have no more knee pain and less foot fatigue. They are taking a little longer to break in and my narrow foot requires an incert. Overall, I would reccomend these boots.
