Men's Converse 8" Stealth CT SZ

It did take a while to break in my boots. i got them while i was in kuwait waiting to come home. But now they are the best pair of boots i own and i wear them to work every day. I love how light they are compaired to my loggers i used to wear for work.

I've had these boots about 2 weeks and they broke in within 3-4 days of wearing them. I ordered wide boots and they seem to fit true to size. The are extremely light for 8" tactical boots, very comfortable and are quiet when moving during room clearing, my last tac boots began to squeak after use, not good in a tactical environment. I would recommend these boots and would buy them again.

15 years in both active Marine Corps, and reserve National Guard. Hands down the most comfortable boots I have ever had! Even bought some for my civilian firefighter career!!!

I have never worn boots till i went to Navy boot camp. We were issued boots that were heavy work boots with a steel toe, that took forever to break in and my feet didn't like them at all, hurt all the time. When i got the chance to order boots myself i did a little research and chose the Stealth 8" ct sz, and when these wear out i'll get another pair.

I'm a military policeman so I'm on my feet a lot. These boots have it all covered. They're lightweight (like wearing sneakers), durable and comfortable. The break in period is next to nothing and easy on the feet. For the price they can't be beat and I would highly recommend these boots to anyone looking for a great boot. No blisters or raw ankles for me.

I have a pair for work and a pair for going out. Very comfortable lazy mans shoe, lol. Only have to tie them once. :) I work in the sun all day in the Texas heat and my feet never get hot. Very light weight compared to other steel toed shoes I have worn. I will never buy another pair of Steel toe/composite toe boots again.

I purchased these boots thinking they would be more comfortable than the issued military steel toe boots, boy was I wrong. These boots caused blisters just below the fibula(the little bone that sticks out just forward the heel). They are very heavy and bulky, I really wish I could return them and get my money back. I wore them for a very short time and do not like them.

I have had three pairs of these and hoped for improved design but each pair has separated where the plastic meets the leather above the heel both left and right and on multiple pairs purchased 1.5 years apart. Wait for a redesign.

I have been in the military 10 years and these are the worst boots I've owned. They are very hot, and they rubbed the inside of my heels raw just walking in them. They also feel like they are put together poorly. Not worth the money, if you want a good zip boot go with the Welcos

It is time to get a pair of those Sage boots... I have a pair of black Converse 8" Stealth CT SZ and they are very comfortable on the foot; light and you have too down ask yourself "Are they on?" The best pair of boots I have ever worn and I have been through a lot in my 19 year career...you have get a pair, nice to wear in uniform and while playing ball on the court...you will feel as though you have nothing but socks on...they are that light! That comfortable! Give them a try, I challenge you!

Some of the worst boots I ever had. Hot, took about 3 weeks to break in. Not good for long distance due to rubbing and they make you walk funny. My old British issue boots were better, which is not saying much.

I was issued these boots for my work. Ended up going on a deployment with them. They never let me down. Felt like I had sneakers on all day. Wore the same pair for over two years before I was issued another pair. Great boot, great price. Thankyou!!

I have been in Iraq and Afghanistan for two and a half years wearing these boots. With all of the rocks I have walk on every day of the week and I still wear the same pair tells you that they are very durable and have good construction. These boots never hurt my feet and they are not any hotter then any other boot... Break in time was zero for these boots with no rubbing or blisters. They are great boots that you only need to tie once. I will 100% continue to buy these boots!

I purchased this pair of boots primarily for work. I thought that composite toe boots do not hold up as well as steel toe. After having a cylinder fall out of a weak box and land square on my toes, I was amazed that my feet didn't feel the impact. Perfect ankle support and tread grip on practically any surface. The only gripe I have was inserting arch supporting insoles; like most boots you have pretty much undo the laces to get the insoles place correctly. All in all, they're possibly one of my best pair boots I've owned as of yet.!

I have had these boots for 6 months now and have probably logged well over 200 miles in them. I decided to go to military boots vs. regular hiking boots figuring if our Military wears them for 16 hours a day in tough terrain deployments there must be something to them. I have not been disappointed. It took a few times to break them in but my feet usually do this with any new shoe/boot that I buy. These broke in quickly. Once broken in they are extremely comfortable. I also have a torn ligaments in one ankle and the 8" support has 100% stopped "rolling" of my ankle. The side zipper is also a great feature for quickly getting in and out of these boots (if you are non-military as I don't think the SZ is per Mil Std). I hike with them all the time in areas with a lot of boulders. In fact, yesterday, I was basically running along a stream-bed for 1.5 miles and these boot were fantastic - like high top light basketball shoes with traction and support. LOL, I am 50 yrs old and in good shape and some teens I passed thought I was crazy boulder hopping at high speed! Now I know why "special forces" go with this type of boot. I really like them!

I forgot to mention in my previous review that I thoroughly sprayed my boots with Scotch Guard. I recommend doing this if you are going to get them wet. It has worked well keeping my feet dry if I am stream hopping or walking through wet grass.

i literally buy these shoes before i go back on each tour not because i have too after i tear into the old 1's but because i want 2 have new ones again even tho the old 1's would still work

These shoes are roomy, comfortable, durable, and tough.

I am required to wear ASTM F2413-05 rated shoes/boots at work and my company reimburses $75 every year towards our personal protective equipment. I have been buying a different pair every year, but finally found something I did not need to replace (due to wear & tear/comfort/or otherwise). The composite toe shank does not "bite" the way my other steel toe plates have in the past. Although I do not have to replace these boots every year, I still find myself buying a new pair of Converse Stealth just to keep in the closet just in case they ever decided to stop making these. I have one of each color now. Would highly recommend.

Not a military type but just a average JOE. Used the boots for a vacation to China last year. A week in Shanghai and a week in Qingdao. Walked everywhere. Boots took a little breaking in( not nearly as much as my other shoes did) and far more support and comfort. Good bang for the buck.

This boot besides being beautiful and comfortable, has excellent durability, I've got mine still has one year and has a perfect appearance. Protects well, it was money well spent, do not regret anything, I advise everyone to buy it. Military Boots Thanks for the excellent customer service. 10 stars, and this note to this boot. I have never put on a pair of boots that are so comfortable! I have been on my feet for 12 hours straight out of the box no break in time and super light compared to my old steel toes. I will buy more!

I've had 2 pairs of these boots. First pair wore out in 5 months, but that is probably because I was doing a lot of concrete work in the desert. Lots of getting up and down. Shoe laces went first and then the back piece on the upper heel peeled away. The second pair lasted about a year before that piece started to peel away. Other than that, they are perfect and the most comfortable boots ever worn. You could run in these things. Love them, just not cut out for hard labor...

When I got to my first duty station, I was issued a pair of these boots. (No side zipper, and safety toe) These are by far the MOST comfortable pair of boots I have ever worn. They beat the hell out of the competition. I have worn mine for about two years now and the only thing I could possibly point out as a MINOR flaw is that the outsole seems to wear a little faster than other boots I have owned. But then again it is a softer rubber and more comfortable. They take a minimal time period to break in and after that they feel as comfortable as any pair of tennis shoes you might have. They have plenty of padding and do not restrict circulation like some boots can. They are a little bit warm (depending on climate) but I can sacrifice that for the EXTREME COMFORT that these boots provide.

Great boots, overall. Insole are very comfortable as well as the inside linen. The break-in period is minimal. The weight difference to a pair of steel toe boots is very noticeable right away which is great if you spend a lot of time on your feet. The side zipper is rugged and eases putting on/taking off the boots. The rubber sole does a great job with traction and shock dampening. Definitely the best mil regulation boots in the market.

I have owned 3 pairs of these boots in the past 2 years that I spent in Iraq. They're the most comfortable boots I have owned. I wear them a minimum of 12 hours a days seven days a week. Theres time where I would not remove them from my feet until hours after my shift. These boots have held up through the blistering 140 degree tempatures and the many miles thats I walk each day. They are a bit warm but I found that if you leave the zipper down they are much much cooler even more than most other boots. I cant say enough about these boots and neither can my friends who now where them.

I wear boots every day.Wearing these boots is like wearing a pair of tennis shoes.They are a little hot in Mississippi in the summer but are very good in cooler or cold weather.

This is the second pair of Converse I have had. The first pair was a desert boot soft toe. I liked them so much I wanted to have a pair I could wear to work, (they require safety toe), so I went with the C8874's. They are awesome right out of the box. I am in my second day wearing them and I feel they are already "broken in". I know in reality that they will be fully "broken in" after about 14 days, but they feel great and I am totally happy with these boots. The cushioning is phenominal and I can't ask for a more comfortable work boot. My feet belong in these boots. I'm on my feet all day and it feels like I have guardian angels on them all day. I actually don't want to take my boots off when I get home at night because they feel so good on my feet. I highly recommend these boots.
