Men's Converse Suede Velocity CT SZ

I've had these for about 6 weeks in 'ghan and they aint worth it! Yeah, they are comfortable and light, maybe too light. Not built for the rocks, that's for sure. You feel anything through the sole. Stitching in the front sole is coming undone. Glue on the rear sole is delam'ing. I'm expecting the sole to fall off any day. I use a pair of Dr. S's insoles with them and they are still too thin. Go with the Nike's!

I purchase 2 pair of these boots (I always purchase 2 of everything). I have never been so disappointed in anything as I am with these boots. Converse has really score low on these. The inside seams would rub blisters on strategic areas of the foot (both sides of the foot, back of the heel, etc.). I disposed of both pair and chalked it up. I'll keep the receipt and use it as a tax deduction. I'll stick with the other models of Converse boots and may even give New Balance a try. I don't see how anyone could wear a pair of these for more than 5 minutes.

I got these boots because I don't like switching over to sneakers in the summer. I think they are even lighter than my old Converse All-stars and the Composite toe its great. I also use them on my Motorcycle and the air goes right into them making them very cool and breathable. Awesome buy, And the Customer service was extremely helpful when I ordered the wrong size, They are about a half size to big. I am a 10.5 in All-Stars but the Velocity I am a 10.

Awesome boots! Only thing to is that they run about a 1/2 size to big and that even with the zipper on the side you have to de-lace them to take them off. I have a quick fix for this: if you cut the tounge out of the side zipper area you can slip on and off super easy.

The boots have no ankle support. They are extremely light weight in comparison to the moon boot. The soles dont last more than a couple of months. The zipper is useless, you still have to unlace the boot to put on or take off the boot. Converse youcan do better

So much lighter than my Converse Stealth "moon" boots! The Velocity seems to run big. I bought the same size Velocity as the Stealth but had to return the Velocity for a 1/2 size smaller. Even though the Velocity has a side zip, I still had to unlace the boots to remove

This is probably the most comfortable boot I've ever worn. It is very light and has a composit toe. The tread isn't very deep so it works well in the mud. It works well at 5 below zero, I can't wait for summer.

i had the "moon" boots in iraq, and in comparison, these are extremely light in weight, and extremely comfortable.
