- 100% waterproof and breathable GORE-TEX liner is engineered to keep your feet dry, comfortable and never sweaty - even in extreme conditions.
- Vibram Kletterlift outsole is specifically designed for comfort and durability. The heel provides lightweight comfort as well as superb shock absorption. The compound guarantees great traction and stability on both wet and dry surfaces.
- Stitchdown construction provides a wider platform for increased stability underfoot. This construction makes the boot recraftable in Danner's Portland factory.
- Full-grain leather can be easily polished and is preferred by those in uniform and on special tactical teams due to its durability and ability to be cleaned quickly.
- 1000 Denier nylon upper material is extremely resistant to abrasions, tears, and scuffs, improves breathability, and dries quickly.
- 8" of support and stability.

About Danner
- Craftsmanship is king when it comes to Danner. Its high-quality work shoes made Danner a household name beginning in Chippewa Falls, Wis. Years later the business moved to Portland, Ore., and found great success by building logger-style work boots. The company found a new focus in the 1960s when outdoor activities such as hiking, backpacking and mountain climbing were promoted by the Kennedy administration. Nowadays Danner continues to create boots and shoes made with the same precision and know-how early 80 years ago. From the leathers to the outsoles to the liners, Danner executes the highest standards with their rugged footwear.

Bought a pair of these at a garage sale that were brand new,still in the box with the sales receipt from a Federal employee who had ordered them and before receiving them was transfered to a desk job. His loss,my gain. I have two bad feet and they are the most comfortable shoes I own and they were only $65 and the sales slip said $259. I won all the way around and I love them!

I supervise a 30 dog Police K-9 Unit and have been swearing by these boots for years. They fit perfect out of the box with minimal break in and are very durable. I've owned six pairs in 29 years and have had several pair recrafted by Danner, which is a strong selling point.

I've been wearing the same pair of these for eight years now and love them. The only reason I said "almost" perfect is because of the linning. After about two years of wearing these boots I tore the linning out of them on purpose. After that they became what I call the perfect pair of duty boots. I just wish Danner would make some without the linning out of the factory. O well, the way things are looking I will be wearing this pair for eight more years. Great boots, last for ever!

I work as a Correctional Officer in a State Prison and I am on my feet all day long. These are the best and most comfortable boots I have ever owned in my 17 plus years of service. If you are looking for comfort and durability , these are the right boots for you.

Measure both feet. If one foot is slightly larger than the other, select a size that fits the larger of the two. Consider the type of socks you'll be wearing with your boot. For thicker socks, you may want to select a half size larger than you normally wear. When you do receive your boots, we recommend first wearing them indoors for a few hours to ensure they’re the right fit.
