Established in 1921, Knapp Footwear was founded by two brothers, Elwin and Clarence. Under their guidance, the company soon became well known for its sturdy protective footwear. All made in the United States, it soon garnered a reputation for manufacturing durable, comfortable shoes for nearly every job. Super affordable, it soon was one of the largest direct selling companies in the world. By 1985, over 120 styles were available for purchase. Over the years the technologies and materials may have advanced, but one thing has remained the same – Knapp boots are trusted by people who work for a living.
