About Magnum
- Springing from Hi-Tec Sports, Magnum's birth was a result of a request from the FBI for lightweight, athletic black tactical boots in the early 1980s. Pleased with the end-result, the FBI spread the word about the boots. Members of law enforcement and security agencies decided to try out the groundbreaking footwear. Poor boot. Had it for less than a year and the heel was going out, and the entire sole was coming undone from the sole..and it's glued together.
