About Rockport

Bought these for my last tour in Afghanistan, and I'm still using them for hiking in Colorado. They hold up better than the Converse boots. They do run about a half size too big though. I normally take an 11 regular in any military boot, but with these the 11's flop around on my feet now that they are broken in. I will definitely buy another set of these, but I will go for a 10.5 this time around.

After wearing boots for the last 13 years of my military life, finding a sage green boot that was comfortable and functional was proving difficult. All the other ones, Belleville, Corcoran and such always seemed to turn weird green/brown colors and always required insoles to be comfortable. I've always loved Rockport shoes, so I figured I'd go out on a limb and try these. What a great limb to be on! The boots are super comfortable and they have actually maintained their sage green color quite well. (been over a year since I bought them) They are steel toed so they are functional for many jobs, but have the Rockport comfort that will bring a smile to anyone's face. This is my first pair of zip up boots as well, very convenient! I cannot recommend these boots high enough to anyone in the Air Force!!! Military boots.com was also quick with delivery. Great company, awesome boots, why wouldn't you get them?
