About Timberland
- In 1960, Nathan Swartz revolutionized the boot industry with his introduction of the injection-molding technique to the footwear industry, which is essentially an innovative waterproofing technology. Originally named the Abington Shoe Company, the business changed its name to the Timberland Company following the success of the waterproof boot the Timberland. It entered an entirely new market with its tactical line Timberland PRO in 1999. Many have donned Timberland boots on missions and adventures worldwide. Most recently the New Hampshire company added kid's footwear to the mix. There's no question that Timberland boots are durable and ready for action.

Timberland's 5'' Mount Vernon Composite Toe is the ideal boot for many people. It is waterproof, electrical safe, non-metallic but impact and puncture resistant toes, and Anti-fatigue Footbed for comfort, a nylon shank for added support while maintaining flexibility, easy to slip on, extremely lightweight at only 1.5lbs, and looks great in black leather that you can shine.
Also the Vibram rubber outsole is non-marking tread, slip-resistant, oil and abrasion resistant.
It also comes with antimicrobial treatment to prevent and control odors.
This is my first Timberland purchase and so far it feels great out of the box. My feet run wide, and luckily their sizes include wide fit.
I highly recommend this boot for anyone that appreciate an ideal boot such as this one. And at the price here, I highly recommend getting yours soon!
